Our small vineyard is producing a delightful sparking english wine, and we are over the moon to be able to offer this to our guests thanks to Little Pomona.
A blend of Solaris and Seyval Blanc grapes picked a month apart, Fermented wild, the resulting wine was bottled as a pét nat and later disgorged the old fashioned way – a la volée!
The result is a wine that truly reflects the farm on which it was grown and made and the people involved there. It’s super English in its elderflower and hedgerow blossom aromatics, but also very cosmopolitan in its tropical, yuzu lemon and intensely perfumed vibe in the mouth.
£20 per bottle pre set to cool for your arrival
Nestling between woods and orchards sits Brook House Wood's small but perfectly formed vineyard. Hugging a gentle slope, it's a community endeavour, and none more so than at harvest. In 2020 we went completely local, entrusting production to our neighbours, Little Pomona, just 250m from the vineyard. Limited stock.
