Exclusive hire quick facts
Exclusive hire
Some gatherings deserve a few days, not a few hours.
Room to be together. Room to disappear.
Book Brook House Woods exclusively and all six of our stays are yours: the Journeyman Treehouse, the Oast House and four cabins tucked into the woods. No other guests, just your group, with 300 acres of ancient woodland, hop yards and orchards to explore from the door.
Long lunches in the Oast House garden dining room. Pool games in the Journeyman. The fire pit going long after dark. Then everyone heads off to their own bed, in their own space. Nobody has to drive home, and everyone has somewhere quiet to retreat to.
It's for the milestone birthdays, the family reunions and the friends who haven't all been in one place for years. We'll help shape the extras, from a private chef for the big night to falconry over the farm, so all you have to organise is who's coming.
Journeyman Treehouse · sleeps 8
The gathering place
Journeyman Treehouse
Four bedrooms, a double-height living space, a vintage pool table, a projector screen and a huge deck lifted into the canopy. Two private outdoor baths sit tucked into the trees just off it. With a kitchen built for real cooking and a table for eight to ten, it's where the group tends to end up.
- Three kings and a twin
- Two outdoor baths
- Pool table & projector
- Fire pit, pizza oven, BBQ
The Oast House · sleeps 6
The converted hop kiln
The Oast House
Once the beating heart of the farm's hop harvest, now over 2,600 sq ft of space to spread out in. Three bedrooms, a garden dining room seating ten under a glass roof, a games room with a vintage pool table, and a big private garden with its own fire pit. The tennis court is a short stroll away.
- Three bedrooms
- Dining for ten
- Vintage pool table
- Private garden & fire pit
Primrose, Bluebell, Cowslip & Foxglove · two each
The quiet corners
Four cabins for two
Primrose, Bluebell, Cowslip and Foxglove are scattered through the woods, each with a king bed, its own log burner and a bath (outdoors under the trees at three of them, an indoor rolltop at Foxglove). They have no Wi-Fi, by design, which is rather the point. Perfect for the couples who'd like a lie-in.
- King beds
- Log burners
- Outdoor or rolltop baths
- Pizza ovens
Perfect for
Whatever you're celebrating.
Milestone birthdays
The big one, with nobody leaving early to catch a train.
Family gatherings
Grandparents in the Oast House, cousins in the Journeyman, and the couples who need a lie-in in the cabins.
Christmas & New Year
A tree and decorations in every stay, and everyone together for the holidays.
Friends, finally reunited
For the group that hasn't all been in one place for years. This is the excuse.
Company retreats
Weekday hire from two nights. See our Corporate Retreats page for the full team offer.
Good to know
We can't take stag or hen parties. We love a celebration, but the woods prefer a quieter one.
Shape your stay
Add something special. Or do absolutely nothing.
Once you've booked, tell us what you have in mind and we'll arrange what's available on your dates. Hand over the cooking for the big night, take the morning slowly with yoga, or watch birds of prey fly over the farm.
