Escape to your own secluded corner of Herefordshire — a handcrafted treehouse hidden deep within private woodland, designed for slow, sociable stays with the people who matter most.

This isn’t just a place to stay — it’s where weekends stretch out, conversations last longer, and time finally slows down.

Set within hundreds of acres of woodland and farmland, Journeyman is made for gathering: long pizza nights by the fire, outdoor baths beneath the trees, and mornings that begin with nothing but birdsong and coffee on the deck.

Sleeping up to 8 across four bedrooms, it’s the perfect setting for birthdays, reunions, or simply switching off properly for a few days.

Inside, you’ll find a warm, generous space built for groups — a fully equipped kitchen (including American fridge/freezer, dishwasher and large oven), large dining area, and relaxed living space (with projector screen and vintage pool table) with room for everyone to come together.

But it’s outside where Journeyman really comes into its own.

Regrettably, we cannot accept bookings from stag/hen parties due to the tranquil nature of the woods and the disturbance this could cause for others.

Soft outdoor seating is available outside from April - October, outside of this time there are benches.
