Exclusive Hire for Celebrations in Herefordshire
Planning a celebration this year?
Exclusive Hire at Brook House Woods brings twenty-two of your favourite people together across six properties, tucked into their own corners of three hundred acres of Herefordshire farmland and ancient woodland.
Falconry, tennis, a pool table for when the weather turns, cider straight from the on-site cidery — plenty to do, no pressure to do any of it. Most days, a walk from the door is enough.
Little Pomona's Tasting Room, on the farm
The on-site cidery, Little Pomona, opens its Tasting Room and Cider Garden every Saturday through September, 1–4pm — remaining dates this month are the 12th, 19th and 26th.
Half a dozen ciders and perries by the glass each week, in the shade of the heritage orchard. No food on site, so bring a picnic; dogs on leads are welcome.
If you'd rather have the place to yourselves, group visits and private tours can be arranged outside the standard Saturday slots for parties of six or more, by appointment — a good option if your Exclusive Hire group wants a dedicated cider tasting rather than joining the open Saturday session.
For a fuller guided visit, Little Pomona also run ticketed Tour & Tasting experiences — a two-hour walk through the orchard and behind the scenes at the cidery, finishing with a tutored tasting matched with local cheese.
These run on Sundays at 2.30pm, with the next tour dates on 13 September and 27 September 2026.
Rosemaund, twenty minutes away
For something extra, Rosemaund Farm Distillery runs their Wild Kitchen twenty minutes down the road — a distillery tour and a long-table lunch cooked over fire. Their next date is 12 September, 12–4pm, with a further date on 7 November.
Then back to the woods for a sunset soak, while the fire pit catches.
This is what the whole farm is for.
