The Oast House

The Oast House was the historic centre of hop production on the farm drying and processing the freshly picked hops. The old kilns, now converted into a substantial house with a large garden giving stunning views over the Frome valley to enjoy whilst sitting by the fire pit or taking an outdoor meal. There is a large kitchen/living room joining onto a garden room dining area as well as a downstairs games room with vintage pool table. On the first floor there is second large living room perfect for relaxing and watching films.

The Oast House has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms over the first and second floors plus downstairs toilet and shower room. If you need a cot just let us know when you book. There is also a washing machine.

There is a dedicated office space on the top floor and super-fast fibre Wi-Fi to facilitate remote working if needed during your stay.

Outside there’s a large garden with expansive countryside views, dining space, BBQ, pizza oven and fire pit. It’s then a short stroll to the on-site tennis court and cidery.

Regrettably, we cannot accept bookings from stag/hen parties due to the tranquil nature of the farm and the disturbance this could cause for others.
