The Oast House
A historic five-bedroom Oast House with a large garden overlooking the Frome valley — built for big tables, long lunches and bigger groups.

The questions families ask.
Do you provide cots and high chairs?
Yes — please let us know when you book and we'll have a travel cot and high chair set up in your house ready for arrival, at no extra charge. Please bring your own cot bedding.
Is it safe for babies and toddlers?
Both houses are family-friendly. Journeyman has a gated deck. The stairs have stair gates inside. The Oast House has stair gates on both stair cases.
Are children of all ages welcome?
Yes, children of every age are warmly welcomed in both houses.
Can we bring the dog?
Dogs are welcome downstairs and can be added during the booking process, there's a supplement and a maximum of 2 dogs per property.
What's in the kitchen?
Everything you need to cook for a crowd — large oven, dishwasher, American fridge/freezer, full crockery and cutlery for the maximum number of guests, plus tea, coffee and welcome basics.
Is there a minimum stay?
Most weekends are 3 nights; weekdays are 2 nights in Journeyman and 4 nights in the Oast House. Stays of three nights or more unlock automatic savings. Get in touch for shorter mid-week breaks.
Can we book both houses together?
Absolutely — many families do. Book each house through the booking calendar, or email us and we'll arrange this for you.
How do the experiences work?
All experiences and feasting kits or hampers must be pre-booked before arrival, and we cannot guarantee availability. Food orders must be placed 5 days before arrival.
What should we pack?
Wellies, a good book and an appetite. Bedding, towels, toiletries (Bramley), kitchen essentials are all provided.
