Brook House Woods: Secluded Treehouses & Cabins in the Frome Valley, Herefordshire
Tucked into the Frome Valley on Brook House Farm, Brook House Woods is a private 300-acre Herefordshire farm offering secluded, handcrafted treehouses and cabins among ancient woodland, rolling apple orchards and working hop fields. Every stay is entirely off grid — powered by solar, with fresh water drawn from our own well — so a night here means genuine seclusion, a slower pace, and the kind of quiet that’s increasingly hard to come by.
Each treehouse and cabin sits in its own private corner of the woods, a few minutes' walk from the next — utterly secluded, surrounded by trees, with nothing to do but settle in. For couples after a romantic woodland break, frazzled folk wanting to switch off from modern life, families or groups who want comfort in nature, or even visitors drawn by the farm’s beer and cider roots, this is a luxurious but grounded UK escape. You’ll find outdoor baths beneath the trees, pizza nights by the fire, and mornings that begin with birdsong and the rustling of leaves in the canopy, alongside the details that shape a stay here: unique treehouse and cabin accommodation, life on a working hop and apple farm, the wellbeing lift of time outdoors, and options for exclusive hire, curated experiences, and peaceful group or corporate retreats.
Booking direct guarantees the best rate — no third-party fees.

Don’t take our word for it
We stayed at the Journeyman Tree Cabin for my 30th birthday, and it was exactly what I was hoping for — somewhere cosy, relaxing and a little removed from the world so I could properly switch off.
We stayed at the Journeyman Cabin and it’s absolutely fantastic. Worth it alone just for the sunrise — even better in person. Double outside baths is a genius move and the communal space is amazing.
Me and my girlfriend stayed looking for a much-needed rest. This place forces you into slowing down. The views, the peace and quiet, the log burner, the outdoor bath and pizza oven — amazing from start to finish.
